I’m Chris, the owner and sole carer behind The Sound Dog. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, birds and other animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life.
After many years working in people management, I founded The Sound Dog in 2016 to turn my lifelong love of animals into a friendly and dependable pet-care service. Today, I provide dog walking, pet sitting and pet transport across Edinburgh, caring for every animal personally.
I’m fully insured, registered with the City of Edinburgh Council, Disclosure Scotland certified, trained in basic pet first aid and certified in dog walking and pet home-sitting.

It features three sizes of secure cages with hygienic, padded bedding to suit dogs of all shapes and sizes. For added comfort, the vehicle is fully air-conditioned, fitted with tinted windows and window shades to keep the interior cool and calming.
